1000 Miles From Comfort

I know I’ve been gone for a while. I’m just trying to make some changes to my life like learning how to work my new MacBook Air and changing how I handle difficult situations. To be completely honest, sometimes changing is HARD. It’s unfamiliar and I’m not 1,000 percent sure that I’m going to get what I want from being different. So shouldn’t I pick the safe route and stick to what I know? Shouldn’t we all? Wrong. Here’s the problem with that theory: You can’t get anything new from keeping the same old habits. It’s true, it may feel scary or uncomfortable but people like me who want more (much MORE) out of life have to make a conscious decision to jump out of our comfort zone. Don’t turn away from the things that feel foreign, run towards it. Those are the experiences that will cause change in your life, and I promise it’ll be worth it in the end.
